Ambitious Japan

So, today we leave the land of the heated toilet seat for Korea. Japan was a crazy planet. With bullet trains, psychadelic pachinko machines, different slippesr for every room of the house, and superior vending technology. From cold beers, to hot tea...we were even surprised with a hotdog vending machine. I had no idea any of that was possible!

Lets see if I can sum up our Japanese experience in a few words:
Bright Lights; Blazing Nights; Sumo Fights; Many Flights; Great Heights; Temple Rites; Lesbian Bites; Mental Plights; Lone Whites; Wonderous Sites.

Thanks Japan!

Hey Brian - sounds like you covered Japan fairly well. You'll have to let me know how the food is in Korea (see if it is as good as Korea House). Also, I looked this up for people interested in what is (Ben remembers it being very popular in Japan...and very LOUD):

Pachinko is a mixture between slot machine and pinball. The player is quite passive while playing pachinko. He or she is only controlling the speed with which many small steel balls are thrown into the pachinko machine. Pachinko machines can be found in pachinko parlors which are spread over the whole country. Many parlors also offer a corner with slot machines. One can recognize parlors easily because they are bright and colorful. If you win balls, you can exchange them into goods that are available in the parlor's gift shop. But you can also bypass the law that prohibits gambling in Japan by exchanging the balls first into some special goods and then exchange them for cash at a small window just outside the parlor.

It was rediculous LOUD! You could not hear yourself think or talk to the person at the machine next to you. Insanity at its best.
